Understanding Your Needs

Depending on the size of your project we want to with you on your property to gain a clear picture of the plans you have. If the project is smaller then pictures and descriptions can help us give you an estimate right away. Every plan is unique and identifying specific goals for which stone and what layout helps to formulate a targeted design strategy.

Site Analysis

Once we have a better understanding of your needs, we need to analyze the property and consider everything involved to build the design you have in mind for your property. Here, we assess the topography and soil quality of the land and then take pictures of the key features to the design. This will allow us to see if additional considerations will need to be made for things such as drainage or zoning and prepare us early on so the design plans align well with the physical and regulatory conditions of the site.

Design Conceptualization

To help bring your vision into reality we want to show you the design before it's built. We may use sketches for a blueprint or design software to create 3D models. This provides a tangible way to visualize the project before any construction begins and ensures that the final outcome aligns with your expectations.

Material Selection

The materials chosen for a hardscape project can drastically impact its appearance and durability. Popular options include concrete, brick, natural stone, and treated wood. Material choice often depends on the site's conditions, the project's budget, and you artistic preferences. Although hardscaping elements are generally low-maintenance compared to their landscaping counterparts, some care is needed to ensure they remain in top condition. Just like any other part of a property, property features accumulate dirt, stains, and debris over time. Regular sweeping and washing are necessary to keep them looking their best. Pressure washing can be particularly effective for surfaces like driveways and patios. The aim is to prolong the lifespan of the hardscape features and keep them looking as good as new.
